Open Roles

• Research Fellow - Language Models Apply
  As a Research Fellow - Language Models, you will contribute to the development of small and large language models for specialized applications. Your work will focus primarily on pretraining, finetuning (instruction & classification), and the generation of labeled datasets.
  The expected time commitment for this role is 3-8 hours per week.
• Research Fellow - Systems Apply
  As a Research Fellow - Systems, you will work towards finding new ways to utilize and interact with language models. Your work will focus on the development of systems utilizing inference to accomplish specific goals, as well as contribution to the development of the Læra inference engine.
  The expected time commitment for this role is 3-8 hours per week.
• Research Fellow - Methods Apply
  As a Research Fellow - Methods, you will research and test new methods focused on improving model performance in various areas, such as new quantization methods, training algorithms, methods of data handling, etc. You will also help develop/optimize the Læra inference engine.
  The expected time commitment for this role is 3-8 hours per week.
• Visiting Fellow Apply
  As a Visiting Fellow, you will join Læra Labs for a time period of 4-12 months.

Our interview process: An initial introductory call and Q&A on your technical abilities, followed by a later final discussion to understand where you can fit in.
